Most of us think that the device and firmware is the reason for this error. But we all should know the fact that these kind of errors happen also because of the SIM Toolkit. Let’s go ahead and fix the issue anyhow.
It’s the most simple solution you have got. Just restart your Android device using the power button if the screen is working. You may use POWER Button + VOLUME Down Button to restart the phone. If you are still not able to restart your android device through buttons, just remove the battery and insert it again and Turn on your device.
It will temporarily fix the issue; so that you can clear app cache and do any necessary changes to the firmware.
2. Clear Cache and Data of the Phone App
The error message Unfortunately the Process.com.android.phone Has Stopped is more related to the Phone App. As you can restart and fix the issue temporarily as explained above, you can now clear the cache and data of the phone app. To do that, open Settings and then tap Apps and then tap “All”. There you will see all the apps installed on your Android device in a column.
Tap “Phone” app and then click “Clear Cache”. That will clear the cache of the Phone App without any delay. On the other hand, also clear the Data by clicking on “Clear Data”.
3. Clear Cache and Data of the SIM Toolkit
I told you already that this error can occur because of the SIM Toolkit. Go to Settings and choose Apps and scroll down till you see the SIM Toolkit. Clear the Cache and Data of the SIM Toolkit as explained above.
4. Use Custom Recovery
To do this, you need to install recovery file manager such as Aroma File Manager. Download it from the XDA Official Website and install it on your device and then delete the Phone app.
Aroma File Manger can be easily managed in recovery mode as well.
5. Flash with Odin
Odin is a wonderful tool that can fix most of the known issues of the Android device. Download Odin and then flash your Android device (Samsung). Make sure to take backup of your data though there is no issues of loosing data with the Odin.
6. Factory Reset

Factory Reset is the final solution you have got to fix Unfortunately the Process.com.android.phone Has Stopped. In order to do a factory reset, you need to first shut down your Android device. Now, Hold VOLUME UP + POWER + HOME buttons at a time until the phone vibrates.
Leave the POWER button but still hold the VOLUME + HOME button for few more seconds. Now factory reset your Android device and fix the issue instantly.
